In Odisha, the annual grand festival Ratha Yatra begun today with great religious ferver and gaiety. Hundreds of thousands of devotees has been thronging in Puri to witness the world famous historical Rath Yatra. Three wooden chariots Nadighosa , Taladhwaj and Darpadalana were pulled up by devotees and took the trinity Hindu deities lord Jagarnanth, brother Balabhadra and sister Subhadra to their anut’s house. The deities who were on board on the chariots during the first half of the day would station for nine days in their aunt’s house.
