In Maharashtra, rates of Corona tests in private labs have been further revised and they have been reduced by Rs. 200.<br />'' <br />''Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope made this announcement today.<br />'' <br />''According to him, the state is trying to increase the number of tests and give more relief to common people in the state for timely treatment.<br />'' <br />''AIR correspondent reports, there is a certain degree of fear among the common people not only of getting infected with COVID-19, but also about the amount charged by private labs to conduct these tests.<br />'' <br />''But due to the efforts of the State Government the tests are becoming affordable and more people are coming forward to get tested for Corona and simultaneously ensuring the safety of themselves as well as of other people in their close contact.<br />'' <br />''With the reduction of Rs. 200 now the cost of Corona test has come down to less than Rs. one thousand.<br />'' <br />''Now the lab test will cost Rs. 980, whereas in COVID centres, hospitals and quarantine centre it will cost Rs. 1,400, while testing for the samples collected from home, will cost Rs. 1,800.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Health Minister Rajesh Tope has said the government has given priority to the common man for the Corona treatment and continuously reducing the cost of the tests as well as the treatment in the state. He directed the District Collectors, Municipal Commissioners to ensure the implementation of the revised rates in private labs in the state.</span><br />
