In Ladakh, the rate of Corona virus infection has shown steady decline from the last week of December. With report of twelve new cases during the last twenty four hours, there are only 219 positive cases in UT. The recovery rate in UT has also improved to 96 per cent.<br />'' <br />''AIR correspondent reports, the COVID situation in Ladakh during past fortnight remained steady and the rate of new infection drastically came down. So far out of 9,589 confirmed cases 9,243 have recovered from the infection in Ladakh.<br />'' <br />''Kargil district has performed better in controlling the situation as its present active cases are just eight in numbers. The recovery rate of the district is also better than Leh district as it has registered 98 per cent.
