Rashtryia Ekta Diwas celebrated across Nagaland

Nagaland joined the rest of the country in celebrating Rashtriya Ekta Diwas or Unity Day on Tuesday by organizing Unity Run and administering Unity Pledge in the different districts.<br />'' <br />''In the State capital, Kohima, Rastriya Ekta Diwas was observed at Raj Bhavan. Governor La Ganesan along with the officers & staff paid tribute to Iron Man of India, Sardar Patel on his jayanti. Unity Pledge was also administered on the occasion.<br />'' <br />''Nagaland Chief Secretary, J. Alam administered the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas pledge along with all the Administrative Head of Departments at the Secretariat Conference Hall.<br />'' <br />''The Department of Youth Resources and Sports organized a "Run for Unity" event at Indira Gandhi Stadium in Kohima, where around 200 men and women from diverse sections of society actively participated.<br />'' <br />''In Longleng, the district administration organized a Unity Run, where Superintendent of Police, Yanger Jamir flagged off the run and administered the unity pledge.<br />'' <br />''In Mokokchung, the district administration organized the "Run for Unity" where over 60 NCC cadets from various schools and colleges participated. Additional Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung Chumlamo Humtsoe administered the Unity Pledge and flagged off the run.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">In Noklak district, Deputy Commissioner Arikumba, administration the Unity pledge and flagged off the 'Run for Unity, while in Dimapur, the district administration, in collaboration with the District Sports Officer, organized "Run for Unity" at the Government Higher Secondary School, Nagarjan.</span><br />
