Nagaland joined the rest of the country in celebrating Rashtriya Ekta Diwas or Unity Day on Tuesday by organizing Unity Run and administering Unity Pledge in the different districts.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''In the State capital, Kohima, Rastriya Ekta Diwas was observed at Raj Bhavan. Governor La Ganesan along with the officers &amp; staff paid tribute to Iron Man of India, Sardar Patel on his jayanti. Unity Pledge was also administered on the occasion.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''Nagaland Chief Secretary, J. Alam administered the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas pledge along with all the Administrative Head of Departments at the Secretariat Conference Hall.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''The Department of Youth Resources and Sports organized a &quot;Run for Unity&quot; event at Indira Gandhi Stadium in Kohima, where around 200 men and women from diverse sections of society actively participated.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''In Longleng, the district administration organized a Unity Run, where Superintendent of Police, Yanger Jamir flagged off the run and administered the unity pledge.<br />''&nbsp;<br />''In Mokokchung, the district administration organized the &quot;Run for Unity&quot; where over 60 NCC cadets from various schools and colleges participated.
