Rashtrapati Nilayam at Bollaram on the outskirts of Hyderabad will be opened for the first time for general public from January 1st to 10th. The President’s office said in a release that the public would be allowed to visit Rashtrapati Nilayam during the period between 10AM and 5 PM. The entry will be free. The opening of Rashtrapati Nilayam premises for general public has been part of President Pratibha Devisingh Patil's people-friendly initiatives. Recently she had inaugurated the herbal garden on the premises. Earlier, a ‘nature trail' was opened for public entry at Rashtapati Bhavan in Delhi.
