The rare collection of Mahatma Gandhi preserved by the National Archive of India was inaugurated in New Delhi today. The collection comprises forty thousands items including Gandhiji papers, photographs and original letters in print and digital form. It also contains about 400 microfilms relating to Gandhi. The center has over 2000 published volumes related to Bapu. Inaugurating the collection Former Chief Justice of Delhi High court Rajindre Sachar said the archives will make Gandhiji memories more accessible to common people and also help research scholars.
