Rapid Action Battalion arrest a Pak based LeT member in B'desh

In Bangladesh, the Rapid Action Battalion has arrested a member of Pakistan-based militant organisation Lashkar-e-Taiba who reportedly was acting as the organisation's coordinator in the country. According to officials of RAB, 43 year old Mohammad Imran was arrested on Wednesday night from Madaninagar area of Narayanganj on the outskirts of Dhaka city. Imran who was living in a rented house at Madaninagar was allegedly involved in recruiting, preparing passports and visas to send people to Pakistan to join the Lashkar e Toiba. The RAB team has also recovered counterfeit foreign currency, a mobile phone set and books on Jihad from his possession. Apart from Imran’s arrest on Wednesday, the Rapid Action Battalion had earlier arrested some Pakistani citizens in Bangladesh who were alleged to be members of the Lashkar-e toiba and were engaged in recruiting people for the militant outfit.
