The Calcutta High Court has directed filing of FIR against Trinamool Congress MP Tapas Pal and a CID probe over his controversial remark against women.

Justice Nisitha Maitra in the verdict today uphold the judgement of Justice Deepanker Dutta on the issue of CID probe on the matter.

The court directed the police to file FIR against the Trinamool Congress MP within 72 hours.
