Fourteen people including two children were killed in a mishap near Ketapur village in Kalmeshwar taluka of Nagpur district when a huge consignment of rolled steel coils being carried on a trailer-truck fell onto a six-seater autorickshaw on Amravati road last evening. Six persons injured in the accident are being treated in the Rural Hospital at Kalmeshwar and Indira Gandhi Government Medical College Hospital in Nagpur. The traffic on the road, which was also disrupted for several hours due to the incident, was restored during the night.
