Ranveer Singh Saini has become the first Indian Golfer to win a Gold medal at the Special Olympics World Games in Los Angeles. The 14-year-old autistic golfer achieved the feat in GF Golf-Level 2 Alternate Shot Team Play event Friday. Ranveer and his partner Monica Jajoo were nine shots clear of joint second-placed teams from Hong Kong and Nippon. 21 nations participated in the event.Two years ago, Ranveer had become the first Indian golfer to win 2 Gold medals at the Asia Pacific World Games.14-year old Prabhroop Sekhon also clinched Gold medals in 300-metres and 500-metres Roller Skating. An Autistic student, Sekhon is from ASHA School in Lucknow Cantt., where he was coached and selected for various camps at State and National level as one amongst 241 participants representing India.
