Saurashtra has stormed into the finals of the Ranji Trophy cricket tournament after 75 years. In the first semi-final at Rajkot yesterday, they defeated Punjab by a massive 229 runs.Chasing the victory target of 349, Punjab were bundled out for a paltry 119 on the final day yesterday.Earlier, Saurashtra opted to bat first and amassed 477 in the first innings, replying to which Punjab made 299 in the first innings.Meanwhile, the second semi-final between Mumbai and Services has entered the sixth day. When the stumps were drawn on the final day yesterday, Services were 164 for 3. Mumbai had scored 454 for 8 in the first innings, after electing to bat first. If the match remains undecided today, the winner will be decided through a toss.
