Ranji Trophy: Bengal 354/6 in first innings at stumps in summit clash against Saurashtra

In Ranji Trophy cricket, Bengal scored 354 runs for six in their first innings at stumps in the summit clash against Saurashtra at Rajkot today. Anushtup Majumdar with 58 and Arnab Nandi with 28 runs were at the crease when the stumps were drawn. The visitors need 72 runs more to cover the lead of the first innings of Saurashtra on the fifth and final day tomorrow. The home team showed poor fielding and allowed easy runs to Bengal in the last session during which 90 runs were scored.
         
The BCCI said today that the final day of the Ranji Trophy summit clash will be played without any spectators due to the COVID-19 pandemic. BCCI General Manager Saba Karim, who is in- charge of domestic cricket said, no public will be allowed on the final day. Only the players, match officials and media will be allowed, he said.
