The semi-final matches of the Ranji Trophy cricket tournament will be played from today. In the first semi-final, Saurashtra will take on Punjab at Rajkot, while in the second semi-final, Services will meet Mumbai at Delhi.Earlier in three quarterfinals, even though the game ended on an even keel, Punjab, Mumbai and Saurashtra had advanced into the semi-finals, by virtue of their first innings lead. In the fourth quarterfinal, Services had defeated Uttar Pradesh by 5 wickets.The final match of the competition will be played from 26th January.
