The expert group of Government of India headed by its Chairman, Dr. C. Rangarajan convened a high level meeting in Jammu to discuss matters relating to formation of comprehensive employment plan for youth of Jammu And Kashmir State. The Rangarajan Committee has been constituted by Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh to explore employment opportunities for the youth of the state. Dr. Rangrajan said that the high power committee is in the state to explore the possibilities of increasing employment opportunities for the youth. The Committee is also looking at adequate training and skill development among the youth of the state. He said that Committee will also examine the scope of creating employment avenues outside the state for the local youth.The Committee will submit its report to the Government of India after hectic deliberation at New Delhi.
