Minister of State for Defence Dr Subhash Bhamre today said that a range of ongoing activities have helped to further deepen and strengthen defence cooperation with Russia as a key pillar of the bilateral special privileged strategic partnership. <br/><br/>Replying to questions in the Lok Sabha, Dr Bhamre said regular bilateral meetings with Russia are held for enhancing defence cooperation including the High Level Monitoring Committee meeting at the level of defence secretary and the India Russia Inter governmental commission on Military technical Cooperation at the ministerial level.<br/><br/>The Minister said all issues including timelines for implementation of ongoing defence contracts are addressed through relevant bilateral mechanism with Russia.
