Rangasamy to assume office as CM of Puducherry soon

In Puducherry, NR Congress leader N Rangasamy, says he will assume office as Chief Minister of Puducherry soon. Talking to media persons in Salem he said the decision to go for a coalition government or not will be decided later. AIR correspondent says, the break away congress party – N R Congress, which won 15 seats in the 30 member assembly, has got a shot in the arm with lone independent extending his support. With his support, Rengasamy can form the government without the help of the 5 member AIADMK group. Puducherry Chief Minister, V Vaithilingam who submitted his resignation to the Lt, Governor, has said that the Congress will act as a responsible opposition in the new assembly.
