In Puducherry, the 22 day old Rangasamy Cabinet was expanded on Wednesday with the induction 4 new Ministers. The new Ministers are Mr.P.M.L Kalayana Sundaram, Mr.Chandrakasu, Mr.P Rajavelu and Mr.N G Paneerselvam. The Lt.Governor Dr.Iqbal Singh administered the oath of office and secrecy to the new Ministers at a simple function held at Raj Niwas. Even though one independent legislator had extended support to the Rangasamy government, uncertainty prevails over the continuance of his support as he boycotted the swearing in ceremony. AIADMK which contested the assembly elections in alliance with N R Congress also boycotted the function.
