Randhir Singh lashes out at BCCI

Olympic Council of Asia Secretary General Randhir Singh has lashed out at the BCCI for the decision not to send teams to the Asian Games in China this year. The Games are slated to be held in Guangzhou from November 12 to 27. BCCI cited international commitments and announced that neither the men's nor the women's team would go to Guangzhou. In the Tri-Series cricket match at Bulawayo Sri Lanka defeated Zimbabwe by nine wickets in a rain-truncated match. Chasing a victory target of 119 runs, the Lankans achieved the same in 15.2 overs. Indian women have made their mark in Discus throw wining all the three medals at Asian Grind Prix on Tuesday. The Event is organized at Shiv Chatrapati Sports City, Balewadi near Pune. In Discuss throw, Krishna Poonia has won the gold, Seema Antil won the silver and Harwant Kaur won the Bronze.
