Commonwealth Games Organising Committee Vice-President Randhir Singh today admitted to problems in the preparations of the Games village. He however made it clear that the games village will be fully ready before the international delegates pour in during the weekend.Speaking to reporters in New Delhi he added that the Delhi firing incident will have no bearing on the Games, because full-proof security arrangements have been made across the city. This admission from the organising committee comes just hours after Commonwealth Games Federation President Michael Fennell urged the authorities to take immediate steps to fix the condition of Games Village's residential zone. The games chief expressed doubts over the state of what he called a seriously compromised Games Village. He said problems have emerged because deadlines for the completion of the Village had been consistently missed.
