CBI today produced the Principl Income Tax Commissioner of Ranchi Tapas Kumar Dutta before the special CBI court and got remand for 4 days. CBI had arrested the officer yesterday on charges of corruptions and had recovered 3.5 crore rupees cash along with 5 kg gold during raids that were conducted in 23 places in Ranchi and Kolkata. <br/><br/>AIR Correspondent reports that yesterday three other income tax officers -Additional Income Tax Commissioner Arvind Kumar, ITO Ranjeet Kumar Lal and another ITO Mr Ganguly have been charged along with 5 businessmen and one chartered accountant for corrupt practices in converting black money into white through shell companies.
