Ramesh Bais appointed new Governor of Maharashtra; Former Supreme Court Judge Justice S Abdul Nazeer to be new Governor of Andhra Pradesh

President Droupadi Murmu has accepted the resignations of Governor of Maharashtra Bhagat Singh Koshyari and Lt. Governor of Ladakh Radha Krishnan Mathur. Now, Governor of Jharkhand Ramesh Bais will be the new Governor of Maharashtra, while Governor of Arunachal Pradesh Brigadier (Dr.) B.D. Mishra has been appointed as the new Lt. Governor of Ladakh. Eleven other states' Governor and Lt. Governor also has been reshuffled.<br />'' <br />'' In an official release of President's Secretariat said, Justice (Retd.) S. Abdul Nazeer has been appointed for Andhra Pradesh and Governor of Chhattisgarh Sushri Anusuiya Uikye will take charge of Governor of Manipur. Biswa Bhusan Harichandan will be the new Governor of Chhattisgarh. It said, Lakshman Prasad Acharya to Sikkim, C.P. Radhakrishnan to Jharkhand, Shiv Pratap Shukla to Himachal Pradesh, Gulab Chand Kataria to Assam, Governor of Manipur La.<br />'' <br />'' Ganesan to Nagaland, Governor of Bihar Phagu Chauhan to Meghalaya, Governor of Himachal Pradesh Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar to Bihar have been appointed. The appointments will take effect from the dates assume charge of their respective offices.<br />'' <br />'' Leader of Opposition in Rajasthan, Shri Gulab Chand Kataria has been appointed as the Governor of Assam.
