The Union Minister of State for Home, Mr. M. Ramachandran has said that all efforts are being made to simplify the Indo-Nepal trade and transit procedures. <br/><br/>This was stated by Mr. Ramachandran while laying the foundation stone of integrated check post at Indo-Nepal border town of Jogbani in Araria district of Bihar on Thursday. <br/><br/>The integrated check post building is estimated to cost 82.05 crore rupees and is expected to be operational in next 14 months. <br/><br/>On completion of this check post, the traders from India and Nepal will be benefited as they will be able to clear custom and other formalities under one roof. The Indian Ambassador to Nepal Mr. Rakesh Sood and other high officials of both the countries were also present.
