Food and Consumer Affairs Minister Ram Vilas Paswan today asked Fast-moving consumer goods, FMCG, retail and e-commerce companies to protect their reliability and ensure quality. Addressing a convention in New Delhi today, Mr Paswan said, companies has to be people friendly. <br/><br/>He said, government is doing its best for ease of doing business and GST, Model Shop Establishment Act are the recent example of it. He expressed hope that consumer protection bill which is pending in Parliament will be passed in the winter session. He also suggested that industry body FICCI should institute awards for Consumer friendly industries.
