In the ongoing Senior National Weightlifting Championships, Rakhi Haldar and Kavita Devi finished on top of the podium in their respective women's weight categories in Patiala. Rakhi won the gold medal with an overall lift of 213 kilograms in 69 kilogram category. In 75 kilogram category, Kavita Devi clinched the yellow metal with a total lift of 217 kilograms. V A Christopher won the gold medal in Men's 105 kilogram category with an overall lift of 329 kilograms.
