<br/>According to Maharashtra Government Home Department sources, Joint Police Commissioner (Crime Branch – Mumbai) Rakesh Maria will take over as the new Anti Terrorism squad (ATS) chief of Maharashtra replacing K.P.Raghuvanshi. However,the reasons for removal of Raghuvanshi were not disclosed by the Home Department. Senior Indian Police Service officer K P Raghuvanshi was appointed as the chief of Anti-Terrorism Squad on 11th June 2009 by the state government.<br/><br/>
