Rajyavardhan Rathore says, it is essential to increase scope of tax collection

Union Minister of State for Sports, Youth affairs (I/C) and Information and Broadcasting Col. Rajyavardhan Rathore has said that it is essential to increase the scope of tax collection for the development of the country and that is why the government has implemented GST in the country. Col. Rathore visited Nimeda village of Jaipur district on Saturday under 'Sansad Aapke Dwar' Programme.<br/><br/>He said that out of 125 crore population only four crore people pay taxes and people announcing more than rupees 10 lakh income is only 24 lakh. He said that tax revenue has increased in the past two years.<br/><br/>Col. Rathore said that with the aim of preparing talented players in the country, one thousand promising players will be selected from the schools and colleges through Khelo India Competition to be held in December and January. These players will be given five lakh rupees each per year for eight years so that they can improve their talent. <br/><br/>In Mundiyasar village, Col. Rathore Said that on the initiative taken by Prime Minister, the central government has decided to provide electricity to every household by 2019 and for this, the amount of Rs. 24 thousand crore has been sanctioned.<br/><br/> <br/>
