Medal Winners of World Youth Archery Championship today called on Sports Minister Rajyavardhan Rathore in New Delhi. The Indian Team won 1 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medal in team events at the Championship which was held at Rosario, Argentina from 2 to 8 October.<br/><br/>Congratulating the winners, Col. Rathore enquired the team members and their coaches about the overall performance of India in the championships and training given to players. He suggested that the players should adopt such events in Archery which will have better prospects at the international competitions especially in Olympics.<br/><br/>India stood 7th in the overall medal tally at the Championship. Indian Team comprising Ankita Bhakat and N. Jemson Singh won gold medal in Junior Recurve Mixed Team event, Silver Medal in Junior Men Recurve Team was won by the team comprising N. Jemson Singh, Atul Verma and Sukhmani Gajanan Babrekar. The Bronze medal was won by Cadet Compound Girls Team comprising Khushboo Dhyala, Sanchita Tiwary and Divya Dhayal.
