Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Col. Rajyavardhan Rathore has expressed disappointment over the four-year doping ban for wrestler Narsingh Yadav. <br/><br/>Talking to media on the sidelines of a function in New Delhi this morning, Mr Rathore said, the wrestler was not involved in taking prohibited substance. He hoped rest of the athletes will perform good in the ongoing Rio Olympics. <br/><br/>The Court of Arbitration for Sport, CAS, had denied Narsingh permission to take part in Rio Olympics and handed him a four-year doping ban. <br/><br/>CAS was hearing into the World Anti-Doping Agency's appeal against the clean chit given to Narsingh by the National Anti-Doping Agency in a dope scandal.<br/><br/>Congratulating P V Sindhu for her win in Badminton semi-finals, Mr Rathore hoped that Ms Sindhu will get gold medal for India in the finals.
