Petitions Committee of Rajya Sabha has invited suggestions from individuals, organizations, institutions and experts on efficient mechanism to check the exorbitant prices of cardiac stents and other medical devices. The Committee is also examining petitions for improvement and strengthening of non-lapsable central pool of resources schemes in North-East, solution for problems arising out of marriage of Indian women with NRIs and development of capacity to make real time forecasting of floods. Suggestions may be sent to Rajya Sabha Secretariat by 30th of this month. The copies of the petitions may be obtained from Rajya Sabha Secretariat or may be downloaded from the website of Rajya Sabha.
