Rajya Sabha suspended a total of 45 MPs for their unruly conduct and disturbing the proceedings of the House. The Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar expressed deep concern over their behavior.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">The motion in this regard was moved by Leader of the House Piyush Goyal was passed by voice vote. Later, the chairman adjourned the House for the day. Earlier, when the House reassembled at 4pm the opposition MPs trooped into the well shouting slogans which led to the chairman to adjourn the House till 4.30 pm.</span><br />
