<span style="color: #222222;">The Rajya Sabha has sent the Mediation Bill, 2021 to the Standing Committee of Law and Justice. The Bill is to promote and facilitate mediation, especially institutional mediation for resolution of disputes, commercial or otherwise, enforce mediated settlement agreements, provide for a body for registration of mediators to encourage community mediation and to make online mediation.  Minister of State for Law and Justice, S P Singh Baghel introduced the bill in the Upper House and later it was sent to the Standing Committee. </span>
