The Rajya Sabha today paid tributes to those who lost their lives in the gruesome terrorist attack in Mumbai on this day six years ago. Making a reference to the dastardly attack, Chairman Mohammed Hamid Ansari recalled the supreme sacrifices made by security forces in defending the lives and property of citizens of Mumbai. He said the spirit of human kind cannot be subdued by senseless acts of violence and reiterated the resolve to fight terrorism with determination to protect the territorial sovereignty and integrity of the country. Members observed silence as a mark of respect to the memory of those who lost their lives in the tragedy.
