<span style="color: #222222;">Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament from Odisha Dr. Raghunath Mohapatra passed away on Sunday in capital Bhubaneswar in Odisha. He was undergoing treatment in AIIMS Bhubaneswar for COVID-19 for the last few days. Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan expressing deep grief over his demise has said that Padma Vibhushan awardee Dr Raghunath Mohapatra was a doyen of stone sculpture who could infuse life into stones. Mr. Pradhan described him as one of the biggest ambassadors of Odisha's art, culture and history. Union Minister Pratap Chandra Sarangi, expressing shock and grief over the passing away of Dr. Mohapatra, has described him as someone who has trained generations of students and contributed to the richness of Odisha's stone carving tradition.
