Rajya Sabha has been adjourned till 12:17 over the religious conversion issue. Earlier the House adjourned till 12 noon over same issue. As soon as the proceedings began for the day, the Opposition parties repeated their demand for the Prime Minister's statement on the issue.

They alleged that the government is following an unacceptable agenda of trying to convert Muslims and Christians to Hinduism. The Upper House was paralysed all of last week over the same issue.
