In Tamil Nadu, the DMK candidates K.P.Ramalingam, T.M.Selvaganapathy and Thangavel today filed their nominations for the biennial Rajya Sabha Elections scheduled for the 17th of this month. The three candidates filed their papers before the secretary of the state legislative assembly Mr Selvaraj. Deputy Chief Minister Mr M.K.Stalin, Union Minister M.K.Alagiri, several central and state ministers were present during the filing of nominations. Meanwhile, the AIADMK has announced that Manoj Pandian and K.V. Ramalingam will be party candidates for the RS polls. <br/>
