The Rajya Sabha was adjourned for the day today as a mark of respect to the memory of a sitting member Kalpataru Das of the Biju Janata Dal. <br/><br/>Chairman Mohammed Hamid Ansari also made obituary reference to two former members R S Gavai of the Republican Party of India and B K Handique of the Congress.
