The as Congress members continued to raise slogans in the House. Holding placards, they trooped into the well of the House in support of their demand. They have been demanding that the domestic airport at Hyderabad, which is renamed after N T Rama Rao, should also be named after former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.

Despite repeated appeals by Chairman Mohammed Hamid Ansari, the agitating members continued to raise slogans forcing the adjournment of the House till 2 PM. Earlier, Deputy Chairman Prof. P J Kurien adjourned the House for ten minutes till 1116 hours on the same issue.
