The Rajya Sabha, which witnessed repeated adjournments today over the printing of different sizes of currency notes of 500 denominations and the stalking incident in Chandigarh, was adjourned finally for the day at 3.45 PM. <br/><br/>Opposition Congress raised the currency notes issue for the second day amid noisy scenes and trooped into the well of the House shouting slogans. <br/><br/>At one point of time, both the treasury and opposition bench members were engaged in heated arguments over taking up legislative business. <br/><br/>Minister of state for Parliamentary Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi insisted that the House should take up the Banking Regulation (Amendment) Bill, 2017 while Congress was firm on its stand on currency notes issue. <br/><br/>Deputy Chairman P J Kurien adjourned the House for the day as both sides stuck to their stands. Kumari Selja of the Congress raised the issue of stalking at Chandigarh and thronged into the well shouting slogans.
