<span style="color: #222222;">The Rajya Sabha was adjourned for a brief period in the pre-lunch session today as some of the Trinamool Congress members trooped into the well of the House protesting against what they called aspersions made against them on black money issue. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The issue figured during the question hour forcing the adjournment for 25 minutes. They took exception to Finance Minister Piyush Goyal seeking information from them regarding black money.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"> In his reply, the minister refuted the data quoted by opposition parties and said according to figures released the Swiss National Bank, loans and deposits of Indians abroad has decreased by over 34.5 per cent. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr Goyal said data reported in media is mi-interpreted as it includes non-deposit liabilities, inter-bank transactions and Fiduciary liability.</span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">       </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Minister replied in the negative to a question whether the government's fight against black money has taken a major beating. He said the government has taken various steps in its crusade against black money including black money stashed abroad. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said the Multi-lateral Competent Authority agreement activated the Automatic Exchange of information for sharing financial account information from Swiss banks since January 2018. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Later the House was adjourned for lunch.</span><br />''  <br />
