The Rajya Sabha was adjourned twice during the question hour today on different issues including a discussion on the corruption charges against the former Jharkhand Chief Minister Mr. Madhu Koda. The House was first adjourned for ten minutes with the opposition demanding a statement from the government on the alleged leakage of the Ranganath Mishra Committee Report providing for reservation to dalit Muslims and dalit Christians. The opposition leaders also demanded a discussion on the recent bomb blasts in Assam. Following noisy scenes, the Chairman, Mohammed Hamid Ansari, adjourned the House and invited party leaders to his chamber for discussion.<br/><br/>When the House reassembled, senior BJP leader Mr. M. Venkaiah Naidu raised the issue of Madhu Koda demanding his immediate arrest on charges of massive corruption. As some of the BJP members trooped into the well of the House raising slogans against the government, the Chairman adjourned the House till noon.<br/>
