Home Minister Rajnath Singh will visit the western border districts of Jaisalmer and Barmer in Rajasthan tomorrow to review the security situation along the Indo-Pak border. <br/><br/>During his two-day visit, Mr Singh will chair a meeting with Chief Ministers of Rajasthan, Gujarat, Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir at Jaisalmer for sealing of Indo-Pak border. <br/><br/>Later, he will visit Murar Border Outpost in Jaisalmer and interact with BSF jawans. On Saturday, Mr Singh will visit Munabao Border Outpost in Barmer district. <br/><br/>An official release said, out of 2290 kilometer of Indo-Pakistan Border, about 2035 kilometer has been covered by physical barriers. <br/><br/>It said, the remaining 255 kilometers of border is planned to be covered by physical and non-physical barriers shortly. <br/><br/>The release said, there are stretches in which construction of physical barriers is not feasible due to geographic constraints. <br/><br/>In this stretch, it is proposed to deploy technology solutions which include deployment of cameras, sensors, radars and lasers. BSF is in the process of rollout of Comprehensive Integrated Border Management System for this stretch.
