Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh will lay the foundation stone of the much awaited Lucknow outer ring road at the Jhulelal Park in Lucknow on the 16th of this month. Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari along with other senior BJP leaders would participate in the event. Mr. Gadkari had said it will get completed in 30 months.<br/> <br/>National Highway Authority of India official said that this road will not only become the lifeline of Lucknow but will help in the decongestion of the traffic within the city in a major way. The four-lane concrete pavement will have a two-lane service road on either side. <br/> <br/>In June 2015, Rajnath Singh had announced that the Centre had given clearance to the project.
