Home Minister Rajnath Singh has stressed for more awareness for protecting Cows in the country. Addressing a seminar on Cow conservation in New Delhi today, Mr Singh said, the recent India- Bangladesh Land Boundary Agreement has brought down the Cow trafficking. He also lauded the Border Security Force for bringing down the problem.<br/><br/>Mr Singh said, many states like Maharashtra and Haryana have brought laws to ban beef and taken steps to protect Cows. He said, Centre is in consultation with states on protecting the animal and stopping cow trafficking. Mr Singh said, cow has historical, cultural and scientific importance and government has started Rashtriya Gokul Mission with an allocation of 500 crore rupees to protect it. He said, two research centers have also been opened in the country in this regard. He said, India couldn't achieve the target of organic farming without protecting the Cows.
