Home Minister Rajnath Singh today reviewed the working of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) at a meeting in New Delhi. During the meeting, Mr Singh discussed the counter-strategies against drugs which included enforcement,demand reduction and rehabilitation of drug addicts. <br/><br/>Besides, ongoing operations to check the drug menace, strengthening and upgradation of intelligence network and surveillance equipment and setting up of training academy and drug labs were also reviewed. <br/><br/>He directed the NCB to move all pending proposals at the earliest to make the agency as one of the premier organisations. He also stressed on the need for protecting youth from the drug menace.
