Rajnath Singh refutes Rahul Gandhi's claim on Naga peace process

Home Minister Rajnath Singh has refuted the allegations leveled by Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi that he was not aware of Naga peace accord which was signed last year.<br/>Talking to reporters in New Delhi this evening, Mr. Singh said Congress leader's statement in the Lok Sabha is completely false and baseless. He said he had several rounds of consultations with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the peace process. The Minister accused Rahul Gandhi of misleading the House. <br/><br/>Earlier, participating in motion of thanks on President's address to joint sitting of Parliament, party leader Mr. Gandhi alleged that Prime Minister does not listen to anybody and even Home Minister was not aware of Naga Accord.<br/>In August last year, a historic peace accord was signed between the Centre and Nationalist Socialist Council of Nagaland. At that time too, Congress had alleged that its Chief Ministers in north eastern states were not consulted before signing of accord. The charges were rejected by the NDA government.
