<p style="margin: 0px; text-align: justify;"><span style="color: #202124;">Raksha mantri Rajnath Singh inaugurated the Naval War College building named 'Chola' at INS Mandvi at Verem in Goa today. On the occasion he said that the Indian Navy's capabilities in the Indian Ocean as well as the Pacific region are growing. He added that enhanced capabilities as well as preparedness for war are steps towards establishing peace without threat to the Indo-Pacific region. He said that the country is preparing to become self-reliant in the navy, air force and army. The process of building fighter aircraft as well as boats using indigenous technology has begun. He added that Politics and culture have been linked since historical times. He underlined that Culture and heritage were important even during Chatrapati Shivaji's rule and Chola Empire. The Chola Bhavan, which today is the Naval War College, is also a monument belonging to the Chola Empire. Chief minister of Goa Dr Pramod Sawant, Union minister of state for shipping Shripad Naik and naval officer were present on the occasion.</span></p>
