Home Minister Rajnath Singh today held a meeting with Gorkha Janmukti Morcha leaders in New Delhi and discussed the Gorkhaland issue. The region is facing unrest for the last around two months due to protests by GJM in support of its demand for a separate state.<br/><br/> Talking to reporters, GJM leader Swaraj Thapa, informed that during the meeting, the Home Minister said he is aware of the problems being faced by people of the region. Mr. Thapa said they pushed their demand of separate state and urged Mr. Singh to initiate the process.
