The Home Ministry today dismissed reports that Rajnath Singh has plans to meet his Pakistani counterpart on the sidelines of the SAARC conference in Nepal later this month.

The Home Minister's office today in a tweet said that Singh is of the firm opinion that terror and talks cannot go together.

The Home Minister will visit Nepal on 18th and 19th of this month to attend the SAARC Home Ministers' conference.

Rajnath Singh, at a rally in Haryana yesterday, had said that India wants peaceful relations with all countries, but it should not be treated as its weakness.

He said security forces have been directed to give a befitting reply to ceasefire violations by Pakistani forces along the LoC in Jammu and Kashmir.
