Rajnath Singh discusses bilateral relations, security with Japanese counterpart over phone

<span style="color: #222222;">Defence Minister Rajnath Singh today spoke to his Japanese counterpart Taro Kono over the phone and discussed bilateral relations and regional security situation. During the telephonic conversation, Mr Singh expressed satisfaction on the robust defence cooperation between India and Japan. He recalled his successful meetings with the Prime Minister of Japan Shinzo Abe and the then Defence Minister of Japan Takeshi lwaya during his visit to that country last month. </span><br />'' <span style="color: #222222;"><br />'' Mr Singh said, he also looks forward to meeting the Japanese Defence Minister during the forthcoming ASEAN Defence Ministers' Plus Meeting in Bangkok in November this year. Mr Singh also expressed deep condolences for the loss of lives and property caused due to recent Typhoon Hagibis that hit Japan earlier this month. He commended the Government of Japan for its efforts to provide relief and succour to the people affected by the typhoon.</span><br />
