Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh who arrived on a two days visit to Kashmir yesterday last evening, concluded his visit after taking first hand stock of security situation in the Kashmir Valley at a high level meeting. <br/><br/>Home Minister had a detailed discussion on steps being taken by various security agencies to maintain peace within State and maintaining vigil at International Border and Line of Control. He was apprised about the steps being taken to tackle spurt in militant activities and infiltration from across the Line of Control.<br/><br/>The visit came in the wake of various attacks on Srinagar Jammu national highway and particularly deadly militant attack on CRPF convoy last Saturday at Pampore in south Kashmir's Pulwama district. Eight CRPF personnel were killed and 24 injured in the attack.
